John Mason has extensive experience in the fields of education, horticulture, recreation and media. He has produced over 150 books and 4000 articles published across a career spanning 5 decades for a range of publishers including Simo & Schuster, Landlinks Press (CSIRO Publishing), Harper Collins and Hyland House. John is a renowned and well respected member of many professional associations. He has served on many industry bodies throughout his career. He is an Ordinary Board Member on the Australian Garden Council, representing horticulture education. Among other bodies, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture (UK), Member of the Garden Media Guild and of the Institute of Training & Occupational Learning (ITOL), Fellow of Parks and Leisure Australia and of Institute of Horticulture (Australia). Carmel Thompson has contributed immensely to IARC for almost 20 years. She is a highly qualified VET practitioner with an extensive history of providing services to both Australian and international clients working in education and training. She has been working in the education industry for over 30 years. She is a qualified accountant with experience as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), trainer and educational consultant. She is the CEO of The Southern Cross Connection which provides consultancy services to both Australian and international clients focusing on capacity building, quality management systems and business development. Vahini Panda is the Director and CEO of Health Courses Australia a Registered training organisation and Health Academy Australia a Vocational training organisation which specializes in online courses in health. She has extensive experience in online education, E commerce and vocational education. Vahini has the experience of running two schools one which is government recognised and the other running non-accredited high quality industry recognised courses. She has also has taught in New Zealand, India, Ireland, the UK and Australia. With her global experience in education and qualifications from India, Ireland and Australia Vahini makes a valuable contribution to IARC as the International Relations officer. Jade Sciascia oversees all operational and strategic management of the organisation's entities in Australia and the UK. Jade represents the organisation on an international platform and specifically manages the duties and responsibilities of her colleagues on both the Executive and Regional Committee Board. She is the point of contact for 80+ member organisations. She is responsible for all conformity assessments and auditing of new and long term members.
