Our Vision

The International Accreditation and Recognition Council (IARC) is an education quality system that provides membership, approval and endorsement of institutions worldwide. Provided institutions satisfy a set of academic, ethical and operational standards, unanimously agreed upon by the committee, they are entitled to annual membership of the association.

The founding members of the International Accreditation and Recognition Council are deemed to be:

Australian Correspondence Schools
Health Schools Australia
International College of Complementary Medicine
Floral Art School Australia

Our Mission

IARC aims to provide a simple recognition and accreditation system for distinguishing quality in post-secondary education including vocational education, distance education, adult and continuing education.

The organisation will promote the system and members through all appropriate means to improve the associations image, implement current research into quality standards, partner with like-minded professional bodies internationally and facilitate joint venture promotions between interested members.

In order to minimise member fees, bureaucracy and potential overlap with other professional bodies, the scope our activity is limited to the management of the recognition and accreditation system and the promotion of the system and the associations members.

IARC membership provides an opportunity for networking among like-minded institutions committed to providing excellence in education.

During the application process, members are required to provide signed confirmation the practices and procedures adhere to, but are not limited to, IARC standards.

Events which occur as a direct consequence of a Recognised Member's working practices deviating from or contravening the documented practices and procedures submitted to IARC, will be regarded as the sole responsibility of the Recognised Member.

Recognised Members are also required to provide signed confirmation that they agree to the terms to the IARC complaints arbitration system.

All members will be required to sign agreement in support of the Council's Mission Statement.
